Fair Housing Act Design Manual, 1996, with Revisions in 1998, published by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity,
Office of Housing. The manual can be obtained by contacting The Fair Housing Information Clearinghouse at (800) 343-3442. The Manual was published in August 1996 to assist
architects and builders in complying with the design and construction requirements of the 1988 Amendments to the Fair Housing Act. It was revised in 1998.
